Ways to be Involved:  Leader on Loan

What is a Leader on Loan?
A Leader on Loan is an individual who volunteers to assist in coordinating several United Way Community Campaigns at local businesses. These men and women come from all areas of the work force, including managers, sales professionals, health care workers, laborers or retired employees.

The Leader on Loan is usually an individual who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and has a strong desire to make a difference in his/her community.

Working with United Way staff and Volunteers, Leaders on Loan plan, organize, and implement campaigns in hundreds of workplaces throughout the Madison County area. Time requirements vary during the months between June and November, but the average time commitment may be approximately 8-10 hours per week. If you are interested in becoming or providing a Leader on Loan, contact Erin Bloxham at 256-536-0745 or email erin.bloxham@uwhsv.org.
